If you are hoping to attempt the Three Peaks Challenge, but don't have enough friends that share your passion for completing this challenge, then the Open Bus Three Peaks Challenge may be for you..! We offer a number of dates throughout the summer where you can join a group of linkminded people all hoping to climb these mountains in a 24 hour period.
Our experienced mountain guides and support drivers will look after you throughout the challenge, transport you between the mountains, organise your accommodation if needed, feed you after Ben Nevis and Scafell Pike, encourage and support you, then award you with a certificate and medal at the finish.
Our Open Bus Three Peaks Challenge itinerary is below:
2pm Friday: Minibus departs Liverpool (nr John Lennon Airport). You are free to leave a vehicle in our secure compound for the duration of the challenge if required.
7pm Friday: Minibus collects from Glasgow International Airport. Other collection points on the M6, M74, M8 and A82 can be arranged if required.
10pm Friday: Minibus arrives Fort William and drops walkers at accommodation (we can organise B&B or Bunkhouse for at cost price, you if requested). Drinks and chat at the Inn ;-)
10am-12noon Saturday: Meet any other walkers in Fort William, safety briefing, kit check, and start the challenge with Ben Nevis.
5pm Saturday: End Ben Nevis, chilli and pitta bread, quick change, then drive through the night to Wasdale.
11pm Saturday: Start the night climb of Scafell Pike.
3am Sunday: Breakfast from the camp kitchen, then depart for Snowdonia and Llanberis.
8am Sunday: Arrive in Llanberis and start climbing the final peak, Snowdon.
12noon Sunday: Hopefully everyone completes the challenge, certificates, medals, wash and change, then drive back to Liverpool. Our minibus can drop you off at Llandudno Junction train station, Chester, or back at Liverpool. This transfer is roughly 2 hours, depending upon traffic.
